Aaron Lee Dennis

Dennis, Aaron Lee, 91, was born on June 12, 1931, in Anson County, N.C. and passed away on September 30, 2022, in Hendersonville, N.C. Aaron was a member of the Brevard (N.C.) Seventh-day Adventist Church.


Aaron attended Madison College and graduated with a B.A. degree in education. He served the Seventh-day Adventist denomination in the USA, North and East Africa. He retired from working for Adventist Health System, Sunbelt (now known at AdventHealth Florida).


In retirement Aaron was an active team member of the Carpenter’s Hands Wood Ministry – helping people who depended on wood for heating and cooking.


Aaron is survived by his wife of 66 years, Laura Mae Dennis; daughter, Beth Zachary (Jim); son, David Dennis (Lora); granddaughters, Bethany Gallimore (Winston) and Alexandra La DiCicco (Liam); and brother, Robert Dennis of Anson County. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline Capella, and Evelyn Beecham; brother, Bill Dennis; and his parents.
