Ellis, Albert M., 90, born January 23, 1933, in St. Louis, MO, died November 29, 2023, in Asheville, NC. After graduating from Union College and receiving theological education at Andrews University Seminary, Albert began his pastoral ministry in the Potomac Conference as a singing evangelist with his wife, Elaine. The couple then pastored churches in the Columbia Union, the Atlantic Union, and the Southern Union. Following their retirement in 1998, Albert served in interim pastoral ministry with the Florida Conference for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; son, Gregory (Jeanine) of Orlando, FL; daughter, Tammy (Bob) Vaughan of Asheville, NC; three grandsons, Tyler Ellis, Matt (Emily) Vaughan, and Luke Vaughan.
