Elizabeth Ann Weaver Anderson


Anderson, Elizabeth Ann Weaver, 89, was born to George and Mary Weaver in Nashville, T.N. on July 21, 1932, and died on January 13, 2022 in Hendersonville, N.C. She graduated from Hume-Fogg High School in Nashville, T.N., where she met and married Paul E Anderson Sr. in Aug 1950.


Elizabeth was an Executive Secretary and was blessed with every move of her Seventh-Day Adventist minister husband to find employment. Those moves were from Tennessee to Michigan, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, North Carolina, South Carolina and back to Tennessee once again and then to North Carolina. Elizabeth was a blessed musician who loved playing the piano and organ and was found most Sabbaths playing either the piano or organ at one of the churches where her husband was the pastor.


Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Paul E. Anderson Sr. and by her daughter Tammy Sanderson, brother Allen Weaver and sisters Mildred Reed and Martha Grace Randalls.


Surviving Elizabeth are her children Paul E. Anderson, Jr (Amanda) of Nashville, T.N.; Cheryl A. Griffin of Columbus, N.C.; Grandchildren Chelsea Anderson of Denver, Colorado, P.J Anderson (Blair) of Nashville, T.N.; Ricky Owen of Columbus, N.C.; Sheri Gordon (Robert) and great-grandsons Tre’, Eli and Owen of Flat Rock, N.C.; Randal Sanderson (Kelsey) and great-granddaughter Frankie of Mount. Juliet, T.N.; Anna Pacheco (Christian) and great-granddaughter Gianna and great grandson Daniel; and many nieces and nephews. Interment was a private family service in Mount Juliet, Tennessee later.
