Lolita Townsend Puterbaugh

PUTERBAUGH, LOLITA TOWNSEND, 78, born August 24, 1943, in Banner Elk, N.C., died April 18, 2022. She was a life-long Adventist and a member of the Spartanburg Church, holding many different church positions. Lolita graduated from Fletcher Academy, Madison College, and Rollins College. She retired as director of human resources from Potomac Conference. Lolita was an extraordinary cook and baker. She was known for blessing everyone with her cookies and pound cakes. No one ever left her table hungry or without a take home package. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Neal Puterbaugh; and one son, Chip Puterbaugh of Asheville, N.C.
