BLACK, Marylouise Breedlove, 95, born Nov. 29, 1925, in Princeton, WV, died Aug. 26, 2021, in Hendersonville, NC. Mary Lou and her husband, John, moved to Fletcher, NC, in 1949, with their daughter, Cookie. She taught business classes at Fletcher Academy, and was the executive secretary to the president of Stencil Aero Engineering and office manager for Dr. Jack Powell in Asheville, NC. She collected many books, loved to travel, was passionate about genealogy and ancestry research, and was a member of Colonial Dames and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of the Fletcher Church for over 70 years. Marylou is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Lloyd and Eva Gladys Breedlove; and her husband of 66 years, John E. Black. She is survived by a daughter, Nena Louise (Cookie) Black Zeman (Daniel), of Ridgefield, CT; two brothers, Hugh Breedlove, Jr. of Charleston,
WV, and James Breedlove, of Collegedale, TN; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
